The PVC Pipe Slotting Machine is designed for slot cutting on finished PVC pipes after the main pipe forming process. As an auxiliary processing unit, it is used when standard PVC pipes need controlled openings for cable protection, water entry, or drainage functions. The machine combines pipe feeding, positioning, cutting, and dust collection in one workflow so groove processing can be completed with stable alignment along the pipe surface.
This machine is commonly matched with PVC pipe extrusion lines or used as an offline slotting station for finished pipes. It is suitable for jobs where the final pipe structure depends on slot pattern, slot depth, groove direction, or drilled openings rather than on pipe extrusion alone.
The pipe feeding and positioning structure helps keep round PVC pipes stable during continuous slot cutting, which is important for maintaining straight and evenly spaced grooves.
Adjustable groove depth allows the machine to match different pipe specifications and processing targets without changing the overall slotting workflow.
The slotting system can be configured for drilled holes, horizontal grooves, or vertical grooves according to the required pipe function.
A PLC control panel supports repeatable parameter setting and helps reduce manual adjustment during specification changes.
The dust collection device removes PVC powder generated during cutting, helping keep the processing area cleaner in continuous workshop operation.
The machine is typically applied in the post-processing of PVC pipes used for:
underground cable conduit systems
municipal drainage projects
agricultural drainage infrastructure
infrastructure engineering pipework
slotted well pipe processing
It is suitable for finished PVC pipes that require controlled openings along the pipe wall. Common products include drainage pipes that need water entry slots, cable protection pipes that require defined groove layouts, and well pipes that use slot structures for filtration or water collection functions.
Model | Pipe Diameter Range (mm) | Pipe Length (m) | Number of drill/saw | Remark |
IV160 | 50-160 | Customize according to requirement | Customize according to requirement | Can drill holes, making horizontal vertical grooves according to requirement |
IV250 | 75-250 | |||
IV400 | 110-400 |
The slotting blade group performs the main cutting action on the pipe surface. Blade arrangement and groove form can be matched to the target slot pattern, helping the machine handle different groove layouts while keeping the cutting task focused on finished PVC pipe processing. A dedicated tool design is also important for clean incision on PVC material and for reducing unnecessary damage outside the groove area.
The PLC control panel is used to manage operating settings and groove positioning. This is useful when the same slot pattern must be repeated across multiple pipes or when the machine needs to switch between different product specifications with less manual intervention.
During slotting, PVC powder is generated around the cutting zone. The dust collection device uses fan suction to remove this residue from the processing area, which supports cleaner operation and helps reduce powder buildup around the machine.
The machine can be configured according to pipe diameter range, pipe length, groove quantity, slot spacing, and cutting layout. Depending on the finished pipe design, it may be set up for drilled holes, horizontal grooves, vertical grooves, or combined slotting patterns. Configuration selection should be based on the required pipe function and opening structure, not only on the basic pipe size.
